Gavin is widely regarded as a leading independent expert on impact investing, and a driving force behind the impact investment scene in the UK.

In 2010 he founded certified B Corp, Worthstone, which was the UK’s first ever targeted impact investment resource platform for financial planning professionals. In 2013, he co-founded the Impact Investment Academy, now the foremost annual event of its kind in the country.

In addition to co-authoring several ground-breaking reports, he’s also participated in government working groups to help develop impact investing in the UK.

He’s passionate about enabling the intentional placement of capital where it’s needed, as well as helping both asset managers and financial planning professionals to improve standards, capabilities and client outcomes.

Ian has over 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, with a background in investment banking, and as a co-founder of a successful infrastructure fund.

An experienced Non-Executive Director, Ian has roles on a number of infrastructure investment boards and also sits on several boards for social enterprises and charities.

Colin Leggett

Colin has over 23-years industry experience. Colin started his career at Abbey National Asset Management, specialising in futures trading and risk analysis before moving onto Metage Capital in 2006, a London-based hedge fund. In 2009, Colin became Investment Manager where he was responsible for running the asset allocation and hedging strategies for the fund. Colin’s depth of knowledge and experience in a multi-asset environment through various trading conditions adds significant expertise to the team, where he works with the CIO in delivering investment performance within the Group.  Colin has a BA (Hons) in History & Politics and is a CFA charter holder.

Symon has over 21 years global industry experience across various investing disciplines, specialising in securitization, equity and derivatives trading. Prior to Collidr, Symon held a senior position at one of the largest global life insurance businesses, in which he created a wealth management platform, as well as developed their investment product range for the UK. Symon has built Collidr from an initial research business into a global investment fintech business, which includes Collidr Asset Management, an FCA authorised and regulated asset management company, and a stand-alone FinTech business, Collidr Technologies.

Tony Wilkinson

Tony has an exceptional academic career, with a BSc (1st Class) in Experimental Physics, an MRes in Nuclear Physics and an MSc in Physics & Computing in Medicine, leading to his formative career as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Physicist for the NHS in Cumbria. In 2007, Tony commenced a PhD in Astrophysics, before changing career direction. In 2011,Tony joined the research team at Altis Partners where he became the Product Specialist of the Global Futures Portfolio – a fully systematic hedge fund, trading a diverse range of over 100 international futures markets. In 2014, Tony joined Wonga as an Innovation Analyst, where he applied cutting-edge machine learning techniques to solve supervised classification problems related to credit-risk for products. Tony is responsible for developing the quantitative tools that support Purple’s proprietary, innovative investment process.
